This layer provides King County parcel areas that are known to contain Septic Systems, whether active, removed or in the process of being removed according to Redmond EnerGov demolition permits. The locations of the septic systems were derived from Water/Wastewater Engineering staff who have maintained a list of known septic systems for the past 20 years. This information was also checked against Utility Billing (Springbrook) water accounts with no associated sewer accounts to determine septic system parcels. The final layer was reviewed manually by a GIS analyst to ensure a building was present on each parcel. These data are being maintained on a quarterly basis by Science and Data Analytics staff. Note: This layer may include parcels that are not in the City of Redmond limits but are in the City service area, in these cases accuracy cannot be guaranteed. |
